Saskatchewan Ultimate Championships 2008
The Saskatchewan Flying Disc Association (SFDA) is proud to announce that the 2008 Saskatchewan Ultimate Championships will be held in Regina on September 6 & 7, 2008. The Competitive division will be played on Saturday September 6, with the Recreational division played on Sunday, September 7. All games will be held at the Regina Rugby Club fields - 25th Avenue and Pasqua Street. Further information will follow later in August.
Team Eligibility
Due to the differences between Regina and Saskatoon in the number of Recreational players allowed on a Competitive team, SFDA usually assumes a hybrid of the 2 league structures. However, this year Saskatoon re-organized their league structure and has requested the Bottom 8 teams of the Top 16 will be the teams representative of the for Rec provincial's. Due to these different structures, player restrictions do apply in 2008. This rule may need revision in 2009 depending on future league structures of both Regina and Saskatoon.
Competitive Division:
Regina- Top 4 teams from Competitive division as determined by City playoffs.
Saskatoon- Top 4 teams from Competitive division as determined by City playoffs.

Each year some teams are unable to attend Provincial's. SFDA aims to invite any additional teams based on final standings in city playoffs, however, due to time constraints cannot always get this commitment.
If your team is available and would like to participate in provincial's please e-mail me to put your name on the Bid List. Any spots available after September 1, 2008, will go to teams on the Bid List.
